Interlude.
Friends, forgive my absence. I had a really weird April. It’s probably a good indication how weird April was that I am just now getting around to mentioning it, now that we have reached the second week of May.
Between the loss of one sweet kitty and the adoption of another (I know I haven’t done a post yet on Katie, but did I mention? April was weird!), I also had work deadlines and all manner of things taking my attention away from the blog.
But it was never too far from my thought. And now it has a new angle! The Columbia Patch, our hyper-local news site, is allowing local bloggers to sign up to publish their own blog pieces on Patch. My first one is here, I didn’t cross-post because I figured my readers here didn’t need a Patch introduction. It remains to be seen how successful the local-blogging angle will be on Patch, but Howard County already has a lively blogging and social media scene, so I’m willing to give it a go. My blog can still be read there and here. This particular entry isn’t going up there, because that would be essentially pointless. But another post is coming soon!
When the heck did it get to be the second week of May!?
